The active weather over the past few days has caused heavy rains, causing several areas and roads in the country to be flooded. Following the active weather, the public are advised to remain vigilant, avoid areas at risk of flooding and landslides, and use alternative routes if main routes are affected.
RTB crew looked at several areas around the Brunei Muara District experiencing flash floods. Among affected areas are Kampung Lambak and Lugu. The public are advised to plan their travel in advance and prioritize safety for themselves, their families and property during this rainy season.
In the Belait District, among the affected areas are Jalan Kengan Seria, Jalan Singa Menteri, Jalan Sungai Pandan and Jalan Maulana. Drivers are advised to be more careful when driving through water-covered roads.
Meanwhile, several mukims in the Tutong District are also affected due to the uncertain weather conditions and continuous rain. Among those affected are Mukim Keriam, Mukim Telisai, Mukim Kiudang, Mukim Rambai, Mukim Tanjong Maya, Mukim Lamunin, Mukim Pekan Tutong and Mukim Ukong.
